I had struggled with the organization of it all when I first started. It was so much to keep track of and so much to remember. Creating charts, writing notes, and organizing specific details, made it much easier to get ahead.

This was the beginning of my planning for PRAC 491. I planned out my
first units from where the students were at.
I had to organize in my mind how many classes I had per month and a total at the end. Some subjects were only once a week, while others were 2-3 times per week.
This was my weekly schedule I had created. Going into this practicum, the teacher I was under had been teaching for so long, she didn’t have a schedule….but I definitely needed one to keep me organized. What I learned by the end of the practicum was that my schedule became very fluid and changed quite often.
This was my own creation where I changed my art lesson into an ADST lesson
by making the art into a draft and having the students plan out their project by
adjusting their materials and planning what they needed.
Another one of my creations that worked very well when the students in Science
were able to make predictions and tell me if they thought the items would sink or float.
The questions after deepened their learning.
This was the assessment tool I created to find out where the students were at in
Science and what they already knew. It gave me a lot of information when first
starting the practicum and realized I had to back track my unit planning from
where I thought they were.
This was the Math sheet I created to see where to students were at for fractions, decimals
and percent. I was right on track with this assessment and it gave me so much
information as to where they were at and what they remembered from last year.
